Witch
… (n) a woman, standing in her power, harnessed by Mother Nature …
Season Of The Witch
A creative collaboration between muse and artist, this four part Series is about harnessing Mother Nature, as any good Witch would do, to showcase her divine power.
In the final part of the Season of The Witch Series, we have the Homecoming Witch. When Kaylan and I were planning this session, she had informed me of a past life regression she had charted years ago. She was told she was a witch burned at the stake in the 1600’s. I could go on about that subject for hours, perhaps days, because I truly feel that strong powerful women were labeled witches. The ones who harnessed nature to cure their loved ones, or the ones who defied the men in their villages because they knew better and wanted better for themselves and their family. Or the ones who were just perceived as different, misunderstood, and stood strong in their beliefs.
There is nothing more powerful and defiant than a women who stands in her power and is confident in her body and her life choices. Some women have always know that about themselves, and some take years to come around to finding absolute confidence with themselves. The later, is what I’ve experienced the most in my clients. But when they do come around and are comfortable with themselves, that’s when the magic happens.
In Kaylan’s own words, she wanted to be serious, but seductive. Serene. Sense of respect for the earth, respect for the divine feminine. Honouring the power and magic that is inherent to being a woman. I truly hope these images make you feel that power, and perhaps help you to come home to who you are. A beautiful, strong, powerful and in tune woman, allowing nature to breathe confidence deeply into your soul.
