Some of my boudoir photography clients come back a few times, or 5. Steph is one of my OG’s from the Hotel Days. Those were the days of dreaming my weekend passion of shooting boudoir would be full time one day. After 5 years of shooting weekends, I was able to walk away from my corporate job. I actually ran not walked, and with no ‘actual’ plan, just a dream, here I am. Having clients with me along the whole way is super special to me.
I absolutely love when clients want to celebrate themselves in different stages of their life with a boudoir photography session. It’s artful and therapeutic, and an absolute blast! Every shoot is different, because every era or season of your life, that you’ve chosen to document is different. Repeat session offenders, as I like to call them, are magical clients.
In Her Words …
I met Deb way back in 2014 when I booked my first boudoir shoot. I had just left my first marriage, was on my own with three young kids and needed a self esteem boost. My first shoot was back in her hotel days, and I made the drive from Barrie to Hamilton. To say I was NERVOUS would be an understatement. I had no idea what to expect, I have never truly loved my body, and after three kids and many abdominal surgeries I was anxious about taking off my clothes.
Deb made me feel comfortable the moment I arrived, and it was evident she loved her role as photographer. I have struggled with my weight snd self confidence for most of my adult life, and have never felt more confident than I do in front of her camera.
I have done 5 shoots with Deb now, at every stage of my life since then, and it is most definitely an addiction.
I get excited each time, not only to spend time with Deb, who is the sweetest gal, but because she is so passionate about what she does, and she doesn’t hesitate to let you know just how amazing you look.
Deb has a gift. If you are on the fence, get off. You will have no regrets, no matter your size, or where you are on your journey. You owe it to yourself to let her show you just how sexy and beautiful you truly are!!
